Revista de Comunicación is the academic journal of the Faculty of Communication of the Universidad de Piura. Disseminates scientific research in the field of communication since its inception in 2002. It is a scientific journal, open access, international, indexed, double-blind refereed, non-profit, whose main purpose is to promote reflection among academics and specialists around the world in the broad field of communication studies. Revista de Comunicación is indexed in SCOPUS, WEB OF SCIENCE, SCIELO, REDALYC, ALICIA, DOAJ, LATINDEX, REDIB, DIALNET, MIAR, C&MMI, SJR, EBSCO, ERIH+ journals database.
Revista de Comunicación is interested in a variety of communication studies: digital communication, political communication, corporate communication, communication law and ethics, communication for sustainable development, media economics, educommunication, artificial intelligence, film and video game industry, audiovisual narratives, journalism, advertising, marketing. And ensures the integrity of the investigation. Since 2017 it is published every six months: March and September.

It is a great pleasure to present Vol. 25, No. 2 of Revista de Comunicación as it celebrates twenty-five years as a scientific publication specializing in the field of Communication.
Reaching the age of 25 signifies a long academic research trajectory that has required understanding and embracing what a scientific journal should be. We are clear that our purpose is to certify the quality of research results; together with reviewers, we attest to the novelty and advancement of scientific knowledge and serve as a reliable channel of transmission for the scientific community, which needs access to recent information, trends, and challenges.
