Inteligencia artificial generativa y liderazgo en agencias de publicidad: transformaciones del proceso creativo en España

Propósito. La expansión de la inteligencia artificial generativa ha intensificado el debate sobre su impacto en la creatividad publicitaria y en el ejercicio del liderazgo creativo. Este artículo analiza cómo directores y directoras creativos/as de agencias de publicidad en España integran estas herramientas en su práctica profesional, atendiendo a los momentos del proceso creativo en los que se utilizan y a sus implicaciones para el criterio, autoría y responsabilidad profesional. Metodología. El estudio adopta un enfoque cualitativo basado en 12 entrevistas en profundidad realizadas en los meses de diciembre de 2025 y enero de 2026 a líderes creativos pertenecientes tanto a redes internacionales como a agencias independientes. Resultados y conclusiones. El análisis temático muestra que la inteligencia artificial generativa se incorpora principalmente como herramienta de apoyo orientada a la exploración de alternativas, la generación de versiones y la mejora de la visualización y presentación de las propuestas. No obstante, la definición conceptual de la idea creativa y la toma de decisiones estratégicas continúan recayendo en el liderazgo creativo. Los resultados indican que la IA no sustituye la creatividad humana, sino que acelera y amplía el proceso creativo al aumentar la capacidad de exploración, la generación de versiones y la presentabilidad de las propuestas, reforzando la centralidad del criterio profesional como instancia de selección y contextualización. Aportes originales. Desde el contexto español, el artículo aporta evidencia empírica al campo de la comunicación publicitaria sobre cómo la inteligencia artificial generativa transforma el proceso creativo sin desplazar el núcleo simbólico del liderazgo creativo.
