In the following text, Beraba accounts for the singularities which define his job as ombudsman of Brazilian newspaper Folha de Sao Paulo. In his presentation, Beraba offers a brief context of the press situation in his country, describes the ways in which Folha de Sao Paulo's ombudsman works and finally encourages the civil society to provide itself with new media observatories. With them he shares the common will of achieving quality press.
