En su primera visita a América Latina, el doctor Juan José Muñoz vino a hablar de cine. Sin embargo, él sostiene que no es muy diferente a hacerlo en España o en cualquier parte del mundo, pues, para él, el hombre es uno solo y el cine es una potencia educadora y antropológica muy importante en nuestros tiempos. El doctor Juan José Muñoz es miembro del Círculo de Escritores Cinematográficos, profesor de Antropología del Cine y Ética de la Imagen en el Área de Comunicación del Centro Universitario Villanueva y de Crítica de Cine y Televisión en la Universidad San Pablo-CEU de Madrid. Es autor de los libros Cine y misterio humano y De Casablanca a Solas. La creatividad ética en cine y televisión.
