Abstract

El derecho a la información, como el de expresión, tiene especial relevancia en una sociedad democrática, pues asegura la participación de los ciudadanos en el ejercicio del poder a diferencia de los regímenes autoritarios; naturalmente se trata de una apreciación constitucional sobre un libro cuyo enfoque es de especial interés para los comunicadores, sin embargo, el concepto y alcances del derecho a la información fue muy estudiado y difundido por Juristas españoles como el Profesor José María Desantes Guanter.
