Abstract

El libro se inicia con dos textos que recogen datos biobibliográficos dedicados a la memoria de dos peruanistas, Hugo Pereyra Sánchez (Perú, 1929-2008) y Catherine Jean Julien (EE.UU., 1950-2011), quienes dieron en su momento grandes pasos en los estudios sobre los quipus, respectivamente en cuanto a los métodos de contabilidad y registro de los incas, y sobre el rol del quipu como fuente incaica.
